    Gallery A3 is a contemporary fine-art gallery located in downtown Amherst in the renovated Amherst Cinema building. Receptions for the monthly exhibits coincide with the Amherst Art Walk on the first Thursday of every month.

    George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum

    Dedicated to fine and decorative art, the Geroge Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum was built in 1895. Featuring a large collection of Japanese arms and armor, including Samurai equipment, ivory carvings and ceramics, this museum is a haven for historians. The museum's collection of Middle Eastern rugs is considered one of the best in the United States. Classical and Renaissance art is also on display at this art museum, including 48 rare plaster casts.
